No Cell Phones (even for a calculator) -  I have to worry about apps that solve math problems, and even worse, students taking photos of the quiz or test. I take this very seriously for this reason.   Your phone will be given to an administrator to be checked for cheating/academic dishonesty. 

Headphones - You should have a test day playlist. Once the test begins you MAY NOT change songs, adjust volume, etc... that would violate the phone rule above.  

Show your Work! - This is the best way to avoid mistakes and to obtain partial credit. The work should be organized, neat, and legible. 

Be Prepared -  Generally I have another assignment you will start working on after test. However, you should be prepared to work on other classes or read a book after the test. (Not your phone)
